Ethereum is where the scrutiny is. Write for it.
Ethereum still carries the launches that have to survive a legal review, an institutional allocator and a technical audience that reads the contract before the landing page. Fees are higher and the pace is slower, and both are symptoms of the same thing: this is where the serious capital defaults, and serious capital asks harder questions.
Three things that are different about launching on Ethereum.
Generic launch advice is worth very little once a chain is chosen. These are the constraints that actually shape the work on Ethereum.
The reader checks your work
An Ethereum audience will open the contract, read the docs and check the multisig before forming a view. Marketing that outruns what the code actually does is found out quickly and publicly. Accuracy is not a compliance chore here, it is the positioning.
Legal review is part of the schedule
More Ethereum launches involve counsel than on any other chain, because more of them involve institutions. That changes the calendar. Copy goes through review, claims get softened, and a project that has not budgeted for those cycles ships late.
Gas costs shape the product story
Higher fees push consumer volume to rollups, so an Ethereum mainnet launch usually needs a reason to be on mainnet: settlement assurance, composability with existing liquidity, or an institutional counterparty who will not touch an L2. Saying that reason plainly is most of the work.
What we will tell you before you commit.
The most common failure is a project that belongs on a rollup launching on mainnet for prestige, then explaining away the fees. Choosing the right layer and saying why is more convincing than defending the wrong one.
We take no foundation retainers and no ecosystem referral fees on any chain, including Ethereum. If Ethereum is the wrong choice for what you are building, you will hear that during the scoping call rather than after the invoice.
Where our work stops
We do not write, deploy or audit smart contracts. We do not provide market making, treasury management or token economics as a financial service, we do not give financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and we cannot guarantee an exchange listing. What we do is everything around the contract: positioning, brand identity, the litepaper, the launch site, the dApp front end, the investor and community material and the campaign that carries it.
What the program covers.
Brand and narrative, litepaper and investor material, the launch site and dApp front end, community architecture and the listing kit. The deliverables are the same wherever you launch. What changes on Ethereum is the emphasis, and that is what the sections above are about. Full scope and engagement shapes.
Ethereum launch questions we get asked.
Do you audit or write ERC-20 contracts?
No. We do not write, deploy or audit smart contracts. We work alongside whoever does, and we make sure the public material matches what the contract actually does rather than what the pitch deck hopes it does.
Why launch on Ethereum mainnet rather than a rollup?
Usually settlement assurance, composability with existing liquidity, or a counterparty who will not accept anything else. If none of those apply, a rollup is often the better answer and we will say so before you commit.
Is Ethereum still the right chain for an RWA issuance?
For most institutional issuance, yes, because that is where the custody, the transfer agents and the allocators already are. We cover the alternatives on our chain reference and we take no foundation money, so the recommendation is not bought.
How long does an Ethereum launch program take?
Longer than most, because of review cycles. Expect the legal and compliance windows to sit inside the schedule rather than alongside it. We build those windows into the plan at the scoping stage.
Nothing on this page is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Orca Web3 provides marketing, branding and design services only. Ethereum and other chain names and logos are the trademarks of their respective owners and appear here to indicate the networks we work on, not to imply endorsement or partnership.
Tell us what you are launching on Ethereum.
A scoping call costs nothing and ends with a straight answer, including the answer that Ethereum is the wrong chain for this or that you do not need a token at all.
